| Description |
| |
The Onion belongs to the family of Liliaceae. Its small black seed is prismatic but
irregularly shaped. Onion sprouts require quite a long time to grow: they reach
their complete development after about 10-12 days of germination, keeping the
seed at a temperature of 20-25° C.
A proper irrigation is important, as excessive watering may favour moulds. |
